1. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
At its core, CSR means balancing business success with responsibility to people, communities, and the planet.
Wellmac Plastics Private Limited is committed to creating meaningful, lasting social impact through various initiatives. We support a primary school in Daman, conduct plantation drives, and organise blood donation camps.
Our contributions include funding Anganwadi–Nandghar facilities, supporting hospitals with cardiac care and laboratory equipment, and participating in government-led “Go Green” programs. We also assist the Nandigram Trust with roof ventilator fans and regularly engage with old-age home residents.
Environmental efforts include rainwater harvesting and installing solar panels to promote clean energy and reduce our carbon footprint.
2. Sustainability
At Wellmac, sustainability is not merely a practice but a way of life. Guided by the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, we continually strive to minimise our environmental footprint. Key initiatives include:
- Pursuing efficient material utilisation to reduce overall resource consumption and emissions.
- Expanding the use of Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) materials across a growing range of products.
- Advancing our commitment to ESG – Environment, Social, and Governance, as an integral part of our operations.
3. Health, Safety, and Environment
We uphold strong workplace ethics and employee well-being, ensuring women’s empowerment, a strict no-child-labour policy, zero discrimination, and a safe, hygienic work environment. Routine health check-ups, nutritious food support, and robust safety measures reinforce this commitment.
Our environmental responsibility includes water harvesting, solar panel installation, and energy-efficient machinery. We also focus on efficient material use, lowering resource consumption and emissions, and increasing the use of Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) materials.
Our Whistleblower Policy enables individuals to report unethical or unsafe practices confidentially and without fear of retaliation. All disclosures are handled discreetly and investigated promptly, reinforcing our dedication to transparency, accountability, and ESG-driven operations.
